Our vision at Inner Peak Wellbeing CIC is to empower individuals, organisations, and communities to achieve optimal health and wellbeing through accessible, compassionate, and evidence-based training programmes and events. "We work in partnership with a diverse range of organisations, including Armed Forces veterans' groups, the criminal justice system, blue light services, and community-based organisations across Lancashire and beyond. Our mission is to provide support to individuals and groups facing significant challenges, with a particular focus on disadvantaged communities. Recent projects have specifically targeted Armed Forces veterans and the Deaf community, but our commitment extends to a wide variety of sectors, ensuring that our services reach those who need them most."
Our goal is to promote health equity by reducing health disparities and ensuring access to care for all individuals, regardless of their socio-economic status, race, gender, or age. By prioritising inclusivity and comprehensive support, we strive to help people reach their Inner Peak.

LEE PEARSON
Founder and Director of Inner Peak
Lee Pearson – Director, Inner Peak Ltd & Inner Peak Wellbeing CIC
Lee Pearson is a highly experienced health and wellbeing professional, Royal Air Force veteran, and Director of Inner Peak Ltd and Inner Peak Wellbeing CIC. With over 25 years of experience across the military, prison service, and fitness industry, Lee has built a strong reputation for delivering impactful programmes that improve both physical and mental wellbeing.
Following his service as a Signals Operator in the Royal Air Force, Lee went on to spend over 20 years in the prison service as a Physical Education Officer. In this role, he developed and delivered fitness and rehabilitation programmes, working closely with healthcare professionals to support individuals in improving their health, wellbeing, and future prospects.
Lee now leads Inner Peak, where he delivers accredited fitness qualifications and a wide range of health and wellbeing courses, including Mental Health First Aid. His work focuses on enhancing employability, building resilience, and supporting positive life change through education and practical training.
He holds extensive qualifications, including Internal Verification Level 4, Assessor Level 3, a teaching qualification (PTTLS), and specialist certifications in personal training, sports massage therapy, Pilates, diet and nutrition, and lower back pain management. He is also a qualified First Aid Instructor, Mental Health First Aid Instructor, Mindfulness Instructor, and Safeguarding Instructor.
Known for his down-to-earth and relatable delivery style, Lee combines professional expertise with real-world experience to engage and inspire those he works with. His passion lies in helping individuals unlock their potential, improve their wellbeing, and create lasting, positive change in their lives.
PAUL JOHNSON
Outdoor Wellbeing and Adventure Therapy Specialist
Paul Johnson is a highly experienced outdoor practitioner and mental health advocate, with an exceptional 39-year career in the Merchant Navy. A veteran of long service, Paul brings resilience, discipline, and a deep understanding of people to his work in the outdoor wellbeing and adventure therapy space.
With training in counselling and multiple psychology courses, Paul combines professional knowledge with lived experience. Having faced his own mental health challenges, he understands first-hand the transformative power of the outdoors. This insight underpins his passion for helping others improve their wellbeing through nature-based experiences.
Paul is a qualified Mental Health First Aider, Lowland Walk Leader, and Outdoor First Aid Instructor. He has also served as a support group facilitator and a board member for a mental health charity, demonstrating his long-standing commitment to supporting individuals and communities.
Specialising in adventure therapy, outdoor wellbeing, and expeditions, Paul creates supportive, engaging environments where people can build confidence, resilience, and a stronger connection to themselves and the natural world. His approach is grounded, empathetic, and practical, making him a trusted guide for those looking to improve both their mental and physical wellbeing through the outdoors.


KELLY ROBINSON
Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Registered Social Worker
Kelly is an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (often referred to as CBT) and Social Worker. She brings 18 years of experience working within mental health services, both within the NHS and Higher Education settings. Kelly trained as a therapist in 2009 and has been supporting people experiencing common mental health problems ever since. She uses proven CBT techniques to help people with anxiety, depression, OCD, worry, phobias, social anxiety and trauma. She also has experience in mental health service management and team leadership.
Kelly believes in human connection and simply being open about the common mental health and wellbeing challenges many of us face in our daily lives. She can often be found on a yoga matt, hiking or cycling and is a great believer that movement and getting outdoors can help support our mental health and wellbeing.
