The Health People

LEE PEARSON
Director/Lead Tutor
Lee Pearson is the founder of Inner Peak Wellbeing CIC. With over 25 years of frontline experience in the Royal Air Force and the UK prison service, Lee has worked in high-pressure environments where discipline, resilience, and accountability are not optional, they are essential.
As a Physical Education Instructor within the prison service, Lee has spent two decades working directly with individuals facing significant physical, mental, and social barriers. This experience shaped his no-nonsense, practical approach to wellbeing: build capability, develop self-discipline, and create real structure that people can sustain.
Through Inner Peak Wellbeing CIC, Lee delivers accredited health, fitness, and wellbeing training alongside community-based programmes that improve mental health, physical resilience, and long-term life outcomes. The organisation exists to serve people who are often overlooked, including veterans, prison leavers, and those rebuilding their lives through purpose and routine.
Lee’s work is grounded in action, not theory. He focuses on equipping people with practical skills, confidence, and standards they can carry forward. Outside of his professional work, Lee spends his time outdoors, hiking and training, continually testing the same principles he teaches.
JOHN CLARK
Yoga Instructor/Mountain Guide
John is Inner Peak Wellbeing’s Lead Yoga Instructor and one of our senior mountain guides. He brings over 20 years of experience across the health, fitness, and outdoor sectors, including frontline work within the prison service as a Physical Training Instructor.
Alongside his custodial experience, John is a qualified Dive Master and an experienced outdoor professional, trusted to lead individuals safely through challenging physical and environmental conditions. His background combines discipline, calm leadership, and precise risk awareness, qualities essential when working with diverse groups in both custodial and outdoor settings.
Highly respected by colleagues and participants alike, John is deeply committed to movement, mindfulness, and nature-based wellbeing. His work reflects Inner Peak Wellbeing’s ethos: practical skills, personal responsibility, and sustainable healthy living grounded in real-world experience.
